Hi, everyone!

My pseudonym is Mimi Starr, and I've recently started blogging for FrumHangOut. I'm really excited for the opportunity to share my thoughts with you in writing, my favourite form of expression!

I'm a chassidish 18-year-old girl currently living in New York. As you'll see from my blogger profile, I love to read, write, and eat ice cream with chocolate chips! (Chocolate syrup is also pretty good.) Please share your favourite toppings!

You're right, chassidim often get a bad rap, and I'd love to discuss our views of the world and the ideal way to serve Hashem. I also want to delve into why chassidim are considered to be the most outlandish and fanatic of all the Jewish sects.
