Hey, my sibling started downloading non-jewish acapella for sefira. A lot of the music is inapropriate, and she's only doing it since she can't listen to regular music.

I know it's agaisnt halacha to listen to music, but if becuase one can't listen to music they will listen to non-jewish acapella (since we don't listen to AKApella and the similar things like that) is that any better?

Is there a heter for her to listen to jewish music now?
What's worse?

When I asked- this is the answer I was given.

If she normally does not listen to non jewish music then better that she should listen to the jewish music rather than open up a whole new area of potentially problematic media.
